Employability & Job Seeking Workshop
This workshop is the first in the Future Female 2021-22 Program and is intended for current students and recent graduates with international or diverse backgrounds who aspire to enhance their employability and advance job opportunities. In this intimate workshop, participants will learn directly from industry experts who are experienced in recruitment, training, and human resources. Our program takes a holistic view on the international graduates’ job seeking journey and identifies ways female international students can stand out in the job market. From resume writing to interview preparation, from networking to personal branding, this workshop will help participants identify their unique talents and apply them to their next career aspirations.

Justine Warne is a qualified Careers Consultant working within VU Employ. She comes from a background in recruitment and careers in both higher education and private industry and is incredibly passionate about career development and education at all stages of the career life cycle.

Sarah is an accomplished talent acquisition and graduate talent development specialist with nearly 08 years’ experience within diverse fields in talent management (Volume Recruitment, RPO Projects, Graduate Recruitment Programs, Early Careers Recruitment, Disability, and Inclusive Recruitment). She was the Project Lead for the VPS GRADS 2019 cohort graduate recruitment program and along with that she has managed and worked alongside the DELWP & DEDJTR Science Grads Program 2018/2019, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Graduate Program 2019, Australian Border Force Cadetship, Department of Premier Cabinet (DPC) Summer/Winter Internship Program and (NDIS) Volume Recruitment Project for Australian Public Services jobs. Back in 2020 she commenced her career within the higher education sector DeakinTALENT and at present she is with Monash Universities’ Monash Talent where she continually dedicates her time, knowledge and skills to uplift graduate employability skills and graduate employment opportunities.
