Future Forte at the ‘Something for Everyone’ Volunteer Expo
Future Forte team had the pleasure of attending the "Something for Everyone" Volunteer Expo held at Drill Hall in Melbourne’s Multicultural Hub. It was a vibrant and engaging event, bringing together a diverse crowd of like-minded students, volunteers, and organizations all willing to connect, contribute, and learn about new opportunities to make a difference in the community.
Throughout the day, we had the chance to chat and connect with many enthusiastic individuals. It was inspiring to meet international students and passionate volunteers from all walks of life who share a vision of giving back and building skills for the future. We were able to share Future Forte's mission and vision, highlighting our dedication to empowering individuals and our upcoming programs designed to create positive impact on international students.
The expo offered a great platform for Future Forte to showcase what we stand for and provided attendees with insights into how they could get involved with our future initiatives. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, and there were plenty of opportunities to bond over shared values and aspirations.
In addition to engaging conversations, the day was full of fun activities and opportunities to relax. Dropout Chai Wala was there with delicious drinks and snacks, fueling us through the afternoon.
After the expo, the Future Forte team capped off the day with a relaxing and enjoyable team dinner. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the day’s events, celebrate our interactions, and simply wind down as a team after a successful day.
Overall, the ‘Something for Everyone’ Volunteer Expo was an enriching experience—one that helped us connect with inspiring individuals and share our goals for the future. We look forward to continuing to build on these new connections and expanding our efforts to make a positive impact!
