Empower Program: Wrap Up and Celebration

All good things have an end. At Study Melbourne Hub, the 2024 Empower Program officially comes to an end. Our amazing co-CEO Regil Mced the event. We had a chance to get together with the team and fellow volunteers and team members. We took a trip down memory lane on all the events we did. Highlights including our Future Forte Conference. 

All good things must come to an end, and at the Study Melbourne Hub, we celebrated the official conclusion of the 2024 Empower Program. The event was a bittersweet moment, as we gathered with the incredible team, fellow volunteers, and supporters who made this journey so memorable. Our fantastic co-CEO, Regil, took on the role of MC, leading the event with his usual energy and enthusiasm.

The evening gave us a wonderful chance to reflect on the highlights of the year, as we took a trip down memory lane, revisiting all the impactful events and milestones we achieved together. One of the key highlights was, of course, the Future Forte Conference, where we came together to inspire, learn, and grow as a community. That event, and many others, served as a reminder of the hard work and dedication that went into serving our community.

A special moment of the evening was the awarding of certificates to our dedicated volunteers. It was heartwarming to see their contributions recognized and celebrated, many who were always willing to step up and support each event and initiative. Their commitment to making a difference is truly inspiring.

One of the highlights of the event was a panel discussion featuring our very own Leah and Inhye, two volunteers who have been instrumental in the success of the program. During the panel, they reflected on their personal experiences as volunteers, sharing how the program helped them build confidence and develop skills they never knew they had. They spoke candidly about the surprises they encountered along the way, the personal growth they experienced, and the lasting impact volunteering has had on their lives.

As we wrapped up the evening, it was clear that the bonds we've formed and the lessons we've learned will stay with us long after the program’s end. The Empower Program may have officially concluded, but its legacy will continue through the efforts and achievements of everyone involved.
